Promoting Wellbeing
Ms Emma Gordon
School Guidance Counsellor
Secondary school can sometimes be a challenge, and students come up against problems that are tough to face alone. Talking to someone may be able to provide support and extra strategies to help. Counselling is available free for all students at Rangitīkei College.
Our counsellor is there to help with any problems that students may face. These could include stress, feeling low, anger, anxiety, friendship conflicts or relationship issues. All sessions are confidential. We use a collaborative approach, working together to help reach a goal that the student wants to achieve.
